Don't take a bath in 6 situations in summer

The weather is hot in summer, and taking a shower after get off work is a habit for many people. However, in some cases, accidents may occur while taking a shower, especially those who love to take a shower in such hot and humid weather should be careful.

1. When you are sweating profusely

In summer, many people like to take cold showers. Indeed, cold water baths can speed up blood circulation and are good for the skin, blood vessels, etc. But if you take a cold shower when you are sweating all over, it will be bad for your health. When people sweat, the subcutaneous blood vessels expand, the pores enlarge, and the blood circulation speeds up. If you suddenly take a cold shower at this time, the subcutaneous blood vessels will immediately contract, the sweat pores will close, and the secretion of the sweat glands will stop immediately, blocking the body's heat dissipation channels. Once the heat in the body can no longer be dissipated, people will feel hot skin and be prone to colds or other diseases.

2. After drinking

Alcohol inhibits liver function and hinders the release of glycogen. When taking a bath, the body's glucose consumption will increase. If you take a shower after drinking alcohol, your blood sugar won't be replenished in time, which can easily cause dizziness, blurred vision, and general weakness. In severe cases, you may even suffer from hypoglycemia and coma.

3. After a full meal

When you take a shower after a full meal, the blood vessels on the skin of your entire body will be stimulated by the hot water and dilate, more blood will flow to the surface of the body, and the blood supply to the abdominal cavity will be relatively reduced, which will affect digestion and absorption, cause hypoglycemia, and even collapse and fainting.

4. After work

Whether it is physical labor or mental labor, you should rest for a while before taking a shower, otherwise it will easily cause insufficient blood supply to the heart and brain, or even fainting.

5. When you have a fever

When a person's body temperature rises to 38°C, the body's heat consumption can increase by 20%, and the body is relatively weak, so accidents are prone to occur when taking a bath at this time.

6. When blood pressure is too low

Because the water temperature is high when bathing, it can cause the blood vessels to dilate. People with low blood pressure are prone to insufficient blood supply to the brain and collapse.
