Speaking of hepatitis B, it is actually a relatively common disease in our modern people's daily life. Most of the patients we usually see are hepatitis B virus (HBV) positive and hepatitis B virus (HBV) positive. Hepatitis B refers to abnormal liver function. When it reaches a certain level, the body will suffer from hepatitis B. A common cause of hepatitis B is excessive drinking. Many people are diagnosed with hepatitis B after being drunk once or several times. Hepatitis B often occurs in people who smoke frequently, perhaps due to viral infection. Although modern medicine is very advanced and the treatment for hepatitis B is very mature, it is still relatively difficult to treat. Now let’s talk about the symptoms of abnormal liver function caused by hepatitis B. First, let’s talk about the causes of hepatitis B: 1. Familial transmission The main reason for the high incidence of hepatitis B in my country is family vertical transmission, including mother-to-child vertical transmission and father-to-child vertical transmission, especially the former. If the mother is positive for hepatitis B E antigen and her children are not given hepatitis B vaccine, most of them will become hepatitis B virus carriers. The family clustering characteristics of hepatitis B are prominent in my country. Animal and human studies have shown that HBV can be transmitted through germ cells. 2. Virus infection during infancy The age of initial hepatitis B infection is closely related to chronic hepatitis B. Once a fetus or newborn is infected with the hepatitis B virus, about 90% to 95% will become chronic virus carriers; among children infected with the hepatitis B virus, about 20% will become chronic hepatitis B virus carriers; among adults infected with the hepatitis B virus, only 3% to 6% will develop into chronic hepatitis B virus carrier status. 3. Lack of prevention awareness Hepatitis B vaccine is a measure to block the vertical transmission of hepatitis B. Due to economic constraints and lack of prevention awareness, the hepatitis B vaccination work has not been ideal, making the prevention of hepatitis B difficult to implement and the number of chronic cases is increasing. In the early stages of liver damage in hepatitis B patients, most patients develop the disease slowly and may have gastrointestinal symptoms such as fever, fatigue, loss of appetite, or nausea and vomiting. Some patients experience urticaria, joint pain or upper respiratory tract symptoms, yellow urine, distension and pain in the liver area, and mildly enlarged liver that can be touched. During the jaundice stage, the sclera and skin turn yellow and the urine becomes darker. At this time, the fever subsides, and fatigue and gastrointestinal symptoms gradually improve. The liver is enlarged with tenderness and percussion pain, and a few patients have mild spleen enlargement. As the disease worsens, some patients will experience symptoms such as oliguria, anuria, ascites, confusion, delirium, and coma. If any of your friends accidentally gets hepatitis B for some reason, please don't be afraid. Although the treatment of this disease is complicated, as long as you have a positive attitude towards treating the disease, coupled with regular medication and timely exercise, you will be able to cure hepatitis B and restore your liver function. |
