What to eat for growing pains

Recipe: 250 grams each of Millettia reticulata and Polygonum multiflorum, and appropriate amount of honey.

Preparation method: Boil Millettia reticulata and Polygonum multiflorum in water twice (half an hour each time), combine the two liquids, concentrate them over low heat, add an equal amount of honey, and boil. Take 20 ml each time, 2 to 3 times a day, with warm water.

Function: Nourishes blood, dredges meridians, warms tendons and relieves pain.

Yam tendon soup

Recipe: 250 grams of yam, 100 grams of pig tendon (other animal tendons are also OK), and appropriate amount of seasoning.

Preparation method: Soak the pig's trotter tendons until soft, wash them, cut them into sections, add appropriate amount of water and bring to a boil, add yam and seasonings, simmer until cooked and serve.

Function: Nourishes the liver and kidneys, dredges the meridians and warms the tendons.

Liver-nourishing and tendon-benefiting granules

Prescription: 50 grams each of Eucommia ulmoides and Chuanduan, appropriate amount of sucrose, and 100 grams of Millettia reticulata.

Preparation method: Boil Eucommia ulmoides, Chuanduan and Millettia reticulata in water twice (half an hour each time), combine the two liquids, simmer and concentrate over low heat, then add appropriate amount of sucrose to make a granulated powder. Take 10 grams each time, 3 times a day, with warm water.

Function: Nourishes the liver and kidneys, improves essence and blood, relieves tendons and relieves pain.
