What to do if you see things blurry

The blind will never be able to understand the world of normal people because their world is always black. We should be thankful that our eyes are healthy. We can see the beauty of the world. But if we don’t take good care of our eyes, problems will gradually arise in our eyes, and gradually we will see things blurry, which is a sign that there is something wrong with our eyes. We need to find the cause of blurred vision in time in order to improve the symptoms of blurred vision.

Blurred vision may mean that there may be something wrong with our eyes. Blurred vision may also cause symptoms such as dry and painful eyes. In addition to going to the hospital to check the cause, we also need to pay attention to daily maintenance, eat more foods that improve eyesight, and try to avoid eye fatigue.

According to the rapidity of onset, the disease can be divided into two categories: rapid onset and slow onset:

1. Common symptoms of rapidly blurry vision include:

1. Central artery embolism, monocular vision suddenly drops drastically to below 0.05, or even loses light perception.

2. Severe head trauma can cause fracture of the optic canal wall, direct damage to the optic nerve, severe compression or optic nerve avulsion, resulting in permanent vision loss.

3. Central vein thrombosis.

4. Vitreous hemorrhage can cause decreased vision, the degree of which is related to the amount of bleeding and the original disease that caused the bleeding, such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal periphlebitis, central vein thrombosis, hypertensive retinopathy or arteriosclerosis, retinal tears, etc. Trauma can also cause it.

5. Retinal detachment can cause sudden visual field loss.

6. Sudden decrease in vision in both eyes, accompanied by homonymous hemianopsia, is often seen in lesions in the optic tract and damage to the visual center.

7. An acute attack of glaucoma can cause significant vision loss or even blindness.

2. Common symptoms of progressive blurred vision include:

l. Corneal opacity, corneal degeneration, lens opacity, vitreous opacity, etc. caused by various reasons.

2. Partial vitreous opacities, inflammatory vitreous opacities or hemorrhage, and early stage of retinal detachment.

3. Those with dark spots may have macular hemorrhage, macular detachment, mesoplasmosis, retrobulbar neuritis, central retinal scar, central retinal choroidal lesions, myopic degeneration, macular degeneration, etc.

4. Patients with visual distortion may have retinal scars, discoid macular degeneration, myeloma, proliferative retinitis, retinal hemorrhage, retinal detachment, etc.

5. Patients with central and peripheral visual field defects may be seen in various retinal, optic nerve, and choroidal inflammations, optic nerve atrophy, retinal and choroidal degeneration, glaucoma, and intraocular, intraorbital, and intracranial tumors.

6. Red eyes and other symptoms are seen in keratitis, iritis, chronic angle-closure glaucoma, secondary glaucoma, optic neuritis, retrobulbar neuritis and panophthalmitis, etc. Therefore, it is recommended that you go to an ophthalmologist for a comprehensive examination as soon as possible (including examination of vision, intraocular pressure, conjunctiva, cornea, iris, lens, vitreous body and fundus) to understand possible or existing changes in the eyes and to receive timely treatment.

There is more than one type of blurred vision, and there are more than one treatment and maintenance methods. Therefore, people should seek medical attention in time when they have blurred vision, find out the root cause of the blurred vision, and choose appropriate treatment methods based on the cause. At the same time, pay attention to daily eye use and try to keep your eyes in a relaxed state. This way, you can get rid of the problem of blurred vision as soon as possible.
