6 Bath Time Mistakes

6 Bath Time Mistakes

1. It is not advisable to take a bath after a full meal

When you take a shower after a full meal, the blood vessels on the skin of your entire body will be stimulated by the hot water and dilate, more blood will flow to the surface of the body, and the blood supply to the abdominal cavity will be relatively reduced, which will affect digestion and absorption, cause hypoglycemia, and even collapse and fainting.

2. It is not advisable to take a bath after drinking

Alcohol inhibits liver function and hinders the release of glycogen. When taking a bath, the body's glucose consumption will increase. If you take a shower after drinking alcohol, your blood sugar won't be replenished in time, which can easily cause dizziness, blurred vision, and general weakness. In severe cases, you may even suffer from hypoglycemia and coma.

3. Cold water showers have many harmful effects

Gynecologists say that when taking a cold shower, because the water temperature is too low, the human body will feel cold and produce a series of stress reactions, such as increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, muscle contraction, nervous tension, etc. Not only can it not eliminate fatigue, it can also easily cause colds, so it should be avoided as much as possible. For those female friends with poor physical constitution, they should not take cold showers. Otherwise, their poor resistance will be stimulated by the cold and may cause colds and other diseases.

However, you can persist in washing your face with cold water for a long time to promote blood circulation, prevent colds and rhinitis, and make your skin more shiny and elastic.

4. Don’t take a bath when you have a fever

When a person's body temperature rises to 38°C, the body's heat consumption can increase by 20%, and the body is relatively weak, so accidents are prone to occur when taking a bath at this time.

5. It is not advisable to take a bath when blood pressure is too low

Because the water temperature is high when bathing, it can cause the blood vessels to dilate. People with low blood pressure are prone to insufficient blood supply to the brain and collapse.

6. It is not advisable to take a bath immediately after work

Whether it is physical labor or mental labor, you should rest for a while before taking a shower, otherwise it will easily cause insufficient blood supply to the heart and brain, or even fainting.
