How to use Fengyoujing to treat athlete's foot

Athlete's foot is also called Hong Kong foot or tinea pedis. It is a very common skin disease. Once we suffer from athlete's foot, it will not only bring discomfort but also emit a foul odor that makes us very embarrassed. Therefore, we must find a good way to treat athlete's foot. In addition to using some ointments to treat athlete's foot, we can also use Fengyoujing to treat athlete's foot.

Tinea pedis (commonly known as "athlete's foot" or athlete's foot) is caused by fungal infection. The skin damage often occurs unilaterally (i.e. one foot) first, and then infects the other side after several weeks or months. Blisters mainly appear on the soles and sides of the toes, most commonly between the third and fourth toes, and can also appear on the soles of the feet. They are deep small blisters that can gradually merge into large blisters. A characteristic of the skin lesions of tinea pedis is that they have clear boundaries and can gradually expand outward. As the disease progresses or scratching occurs, erosion, exudation, or even bacterial infection and pustules may occur.

After washing your feet with warm water before going to bed every day, use a cotton swab to dip an appropriate amount of wind oil and apply it to the affected area. Generally, if you use it continuously for 5 days, it can basically achieve the effect of relieving pain and itching. If accompanied by blisters, the blisters should be pricked with a needle first, and then the wind oil should be used.

The key to treating athlete's foot is prevention rather than treatment, because the recurrence of athlete's foot is related to close contact with the source of infection. The most fundamental thing is to completely eliminate the source of infection (such as shoes, socks, slippers, etc.). Therefore, although Fengyoujing can treat athlete's foot, it cannot fundamentally prevent the recurrence of athlete's foot.

It should also be noted that the camphor and eucalyptus oil in the Fengyoujing ingredients can be absorbed through the skin and then pass through the placenta into the fetus, affecting fetal growth. It has side effects such as teratogenicity and causing increased blood bilirubin and kernicterus. Therefore, it is not suitable for pregnant women, infants and young children to use.

In the above article, we introduced what athlete's foot is. We know that athlete's foot is also called Hong Kong foot. Athlete's foot brings us a lot of trouble, but we can use Fengyoujing to treat athlete's foot.
