How to relieve fatigue after a sleepless night

Fatigue is detrimental to both life and work, and sleep directly affects the body's working state for a day. Sleep is the best way to relieve fatigue, but after a night without sleep, the body consumes too much energy. Staying up late is harmful to the body, so try to stay up late as little as possible. So how can we relieve the fatigue caused by a night of sleeplessness? You can achieve results quickly by following the method below.

1. Bathing: Bathing can eliminate the excrement of body metabolism, dilate capillaries, and effectively eliminate fatigue. But you should take a short rest after returning to your residence or activities, and wait until your heart rate returns to normal before bathing. The water temperature should be around 40 degrees. Generally, it takes 15 to 20 minutes to bathe, and it should not be too long.

2. Soak your feet in hot water before going to bed: Soaking your feet in hot water can help you relax and sleep. The water temperature can be slightly higher, and it is appropriate to feel slightly hot. Soaking your feet can dilate blood vessels, accelerate blood flow, and enhance blood circulation.

3. Massage: Excessive physical exercise causes lactic acid to accumulate in muscle groups. Massage helps lactic acid to be absorbed by the blood as soon as possible. The method is to pinch or gently tap the calves, thighs, arms, shoulders, and back with your fists to relax the muscles. After a day's travel, many people use sleep or sitting idle as a way to restore their physical strength, but this is actually a misunderstanding.

Diet can help restore your strength

1. Hot tea: Tea contains caffeine, which can increase the frequency and depth of breathing, promote the secretion of adrenaline and achieve the purpose of anti-fatigue. Coffee and chocolate also have similar effects.

2. High-protein food: If the body consumes too much calories, it will also feel tired, so you should eat more protein-rich foods such as tofu, milk, pork, beef, fish, eggs, etc.

3. Vitamins: Vitamins B and C help to dispose of the metabolic products accumulated in the human body as quickly as possible, so eating foods rich in vitamins B and C can eliminate fatigue.

4. Drink active water or purified water: Water contains a lot of oxygen, which can quickly relieve physical fatigue.

5. Alkaline foods: Eat more alkaline foods such as fresh vegetables, fruits, soy products, milk and animal livers rich in protein and vitamins. After being digested and absorbed by the human body, these foods can quickly reduce the acidity of the blood, neutralize the balance to achieve weak alkalinity, and eliminate fatigue.

Why not do some relaxation exercises?

1. Sit with your neck stretched. Hold your head with both hands, place your forearms on your cheeks, and press slightly to bend your neck forward, then tilt your neck back as far as possible. Do this 8 times, and rest for 1 to 2 seconds each time.

2. Sit sideways and stretch. Put one hand on the waist, stretch the other arm straight up, bend the upper body slightly to the side, stretch the arm upward and sideways 5 times, then switch to the other side, and rest for 1 to 2 seconds each time.

3. Sit with shoulders stretched. Cross your fingers and raise them, palms facing upwards, then vibrate backwards 10 times from slow to fast.

4. Sit with waist and abdomen stretched. Hold your head with both hands, bend forward, then lean back, abduct your elbows, and stretch your body as much as possible, hold for 3-4 seconds, and do it 5 times slowly.

5. Sitting position for chest and back stretch. Bend your elbows and raise your arms horizontally in front of you, lower your head and chest, then stretch your arms parallel to the sides and back, raise your head and chest, and do this 10 times.

6. Leg stretch sitting position. Bend your knees and place them in front of your chest, then straighten both legs at the same time, with your toes pointed forward. Do this 10 times, resting for 1 to 2 seconds each time.
