Methods for repairing burn scars

Burn scars have a great impact on our facial skin, especially for female friends. You may think that burn scars will affect the beauty of your face, so you will use plastic surgery to remove scars. In the case of burn scars, as long as we use the correct methods to treat them in our lives, they can generally be cured, but it may cause some damage to your skin, I hope you can understand.

Scars are formed when the human skin tissue is subjected to various external traumas. The skin fibrous connective tissue at the wound healing site proliferates to fill, connect, support and protect the surrounding normal burn scar tissue. In other words, scar formation is a normal biological repair process of the human body. If there is no scar repair after trauma, the wound cannot heal.

First of all, you should choose to go to the hospital for treatment of burn scars, and go to the hospital in time for the doctor to clean, disinfect, suture or bandage the wound. People often worry that cleaning the wound will waste time, cause more bleeding or make the wound bigger, or even refuse to clean it simply because they are afraid of pain. In fact, cleaning the wound carefully is the most basic step to avoid scars and promote wound healing. Disinfection is to prevent infection, which is also the key to avoiding local scars. Because infection can cause damage to the lower layer of the dermis and the epidermis cannot regenerate, the defects have to be filled by the proliferation of granulation tissue, which will inevitably leave scars.

Second, burn scars should be treated in a timely manner and should be immediately rinsed with plenty of clean cold water after treatment to reduce high temperature damage to deep tissues; facial wounds should not be disinfected with iodine, otherwise it will cause pigmentation.

Third, be patient and wait for the wound to heal. After the wound has scabbed over, wait patiently for it to fall off on its own. People often dislike the unsightly black scabs, or out of curiosity, they cannot help but forcibly peel off the scabs too early. This is the most common mistake in the treatment of burn scars. At this time, the epidermal cells that are still being repaired have not yet fully grown, and without the protection of the hard scab, it is easy to form scars and pigmentation. When treating burn scars, you should also pay attention to the fact that an itchy feeling will occur when the wound is healing. Using scratching, hot water washing, friction with clothes and other methods to relieve the itching will stimulate the local capillary dilation and granulation tissue proliferation to form scars. Sometimes, the newly grown epidermal cells will be accidentally removed, which will also stimulate local inflammatory reactions and hinder wound healing.

Fourth, reasonable care also plays an auxiliary role in the treatment of burn scars. In terms of diet, irritating foods such as alcohol, chili, mutton, raw garlic, ginger, mustard, coffee, etc. can also promote scar growth. If you take medicines containing lead or mercury, it will promote pigmentation; sun protection should not be ignored. Especially in midsummer, the sun is hot and abundant, and the new skin is tender and can hardly resist the radiation of ultraviolet rays in the sun, so it is easy to form pigmentation; cosmetics, soaps, etc. cannot come into contact with wounds, so in order to permanently remove scars in the future, it is necessary to temporarily lose beauty for a few days.

In order to make everyone have a more beautiful face in life, we hope that everyone should have a good understanding of the methods of repairing burn scars in life, so that we can make our skin more beautiful. At the same time, we need to pay attention to some matters when using the method of burn scar repair.
