What are the acupuncture points for removing dampness

When the human body is too damp, it is very harmful to our body, such as rheumatism, summer dampness and many other things. Therefore, we must take seriously the impact of dampness on the body. At present, removing dampness through acupoints is the most convenient, safe and effective. So what are the acupoints that can remove dampness? Next, I will tell you about the acupoints that can remove dampness, and I hope it will really help you.

Jiquan point in the armpit

Located at the apex of the armpit, where the axillary artery pulsates, it is an important acupuncture point of the Heart Meridian. It can remove heat toxins from the heart. You should often massage or move it, generally not less than 36 times, at least twice a day, to dredge the meridians. It can also help regulate sleep and solve heart discomfort problems, including unexplained palpitations and chest tightness that often occur in white-collar workers.

Quchi point in the antecubital fossa

Located at the outer end of the elbow transverse line, bend the elbow, and the damp and turbid qi of the large intestine meridian will gather here at the midpoint of the line connecting the Chize point and the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. It is commonly used in modern times to treat shoulder and elbow pain (or periarthritis of the shoulder), upper limb paralysis, hypertension, urticaria, influenza, tonsillitis, goiter, acute gastroenteritis, cold and fever, pharyngitis, etc. You can tap the elbow pit continuously for about 5 minutes until you feel the soreness and swelling.

Weizhong point on the knee

Located at the center point of the hollow of the leg, there is an acupuncture point called Weizhong, which runs along the bladder meridian. The bladder meridian is the largest detoxification and dehumidification channel in the human body, and the Weizhong point is the sewage outlet on this channel. If it is not unobstructed, the moisture cannot be discharged, which may lead to the occurrence of diseases such as arthritis and low back pain. Therefore, you can massage this acupoint at normal times, flicking or tapping it no less than 36 times each time.

Acupoint moxibustion to remove dampness

The most unique treatment method in traditional Chinese medicine is acupoint therapy. Pressing acupoints can also play a certain role in dealing with dampness.

Regularly pressing the Chengshan point, Yufu point and Sanyinjiao point can strengthen the spleen and stomach, and also help to transport moisture from the body. Liang Yongxiu, deputy director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Room of the Ren'ai Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, suggested that in addition to acupressure, moxibustion can also be used. When performing moxibustion, the lit moxa stick can be hung 2 to 3 cm above the skin and smoked to make the acupuncture points feel warm and red. It is best to perform moxibustion for more than 20 minutes at a time.

The above methods of removing dampness are relatively simple and easy to understand. Doing them when we are bored in our daily life is very beneficial to our health. If you feel unwell, you still need to choose a regular hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible. Usual diet and good living habits are equally important. Only with a good body can you live a happy life. I wish you happiness.
