How to treat pancreatic problems

Nowadays, many people often drink and smoke. There is nothing wrong with their personal habits, but these habits will cause greater harm to our body. Many people have bad opinions, but at this time everyone will still smoke and drink, which is very harmful to the body. Patients may also have persistent severe pain in the upper abdomen, and a radiating feeling in the waist and back. Severe cases may be accompanied by vomiting or diarrhea, malnutrition and other conditions.

Chronic pancreatitis is often caused by long-term alcoholism, lack of protein in the diet, chronic cholecystitis, biliary ascariasis, cholelithiasis, diabetes, and a history of repeated acute pancreatitis, accompanied by the following symptoms:

① Recurrent severe upper abdominal pain radiating to the waist and back, aggravated after eating, relieved when the upper body leans forward, and severe pain is often accompanied by vomiting.

② ② A minority may have no history of abdominal pain, but may have symptoms such as steatorrhea, malnutrition, jaundice, hematemesis, melena, etc., and a lump may occasionally be felt in the upper abdomen.

1. Daily life regimen

Patients with pancreatitis should stay in bed during an attack. After recovering from the illness, you still need to rest in bed more and avoid fatigue.

2. Dietary conditioning

1. Dietary principles

(1) During an acute attack, complete fasting is required to inhibit pancreatic juice secretion.

(2) Food should be light and easy to digest.

(3) Eat a low-fat diet.

Generally, absolute fasting is required during an acute attack. When the patient's symptoms gradually ease, he or she can take fat-free and low-protein liquids, such as fruit juice, thin lotus root powder, rice soup, tomato juice, protein water, mung bean soup without residue, vegetable juice, etc. Strictly limit fat. After the condition improves, you can change to low-fat liquid food, such as pork liver soup, soy milk, pork kidney soup, egg white soup, etc. Later, you can gradually switch to a low-fat semi-liquid food, 5 to 6 meals a day, and provide foods rich in vitamins. During the fasting period, if there is electrolyte imbalance, such as a decrease in potassium, magnesium, sodium, and calcium, you can eat more fresh mushrooms, vegetable juice, fruit juice, fresh orange juice, watermelon juice, etc.
