In daily life, we often smell a strange smell on some friends' clothes. In fact, this is because the clothes have been left for too long and mold is produced, thus emitting a musty smell. When we often wear musty clothes, it will not only cause some adverse effects on our skin, but also be very harmful to our body. So how can you wash moldy clothes? Let's take a look at the following content.

1. If the clothes are made of white cotton, linen or polyester and there is not much mold, you can use laundry detergent or stain remover to remove the mold stains:

(1) Wash the clothes with detergent first;

(2) Add one bottle cap (40 grams) of laundry detergent into half a basin of water (about 2 liters), stir well, put in white clothes and soak for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. If the stain is still not removed after soaking for 2 hours, take out the clothes, add 1 bottle cap of this product to the basin, stir well, put the clothes in and continue soaking. The cumulative soaking time shall not exceed 6 hours.

If you are not sure about the fabric of the clothes, you can try it in a hidden place of the clothes first; and when using, avoid contact with metal buttons, zippers, metal decorations on the clothes, etc., and avoid direct sunlight.
