Cellular immunotherapy for esophageal cancer

Cellular immunotherapy for esophageal cancer

At present, the most recognized effective treatment for esophageal cancer is surgical resection, supplemented by radiotherapy, chemotherapy or cellular immunotherapy. For patients who have already had cancer cell metastasis, cellular immunotherapy is recommended.

Cell immunotherapy is the fourth tumor treatment model after surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. It is a treatment that conforms to the biological laws of human beings. This treatment method has just started in China. Unlike chemotherapy and radiotherapy, cell immunotherapy is also an option for some weak and older patients who are in poor physical condition and cannot undergo surgery or radiotherapy. Cell immunotherapy is to use one's own cells to fight tumor cells, without the need to endure surgery and the pain of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Cell immunotherapy starts from the root cause of esophageal cancer, prevents the spread and metastasis of cancer cells, and improves the survival time of patients with advanced esophageal cancer. Cell immunotherapy can significantly inhibit the growth and proliferation of esophageal cancer tumor cells, help the body restore its ability to fight esophageal cancer tumor cells, maximize the body's immune function, minimize the number of residual tumor cells in the body, significantly improve the quality of life of patients, and effectively improve the survival of cancer patients. It is a more advanced and effective treatment method.

Special reminder: The 5-year survival rate of patients with early esophageal cancer after surgery is 90%. Patients in the middle and late stages can first undergo radiotherapy and chemotherapy to shrink the tumor, and then undergo surgery. The elderly and frail, with poor cardiopulmonary function and unable to tolerate conventional thoracotomy, can use tumor biological therapy, which can achieve satisfactory results.
