How to wash clothes stained with ink

How to wash clothes stained with ink? I believe everyone is very familiar with ink. Some people think that it is no longer used, but most people will still use it in life because they still have to learn calligraphy, painting, etc. At this time, it is easy to get ink on clothes. Some people think that I will be very careful and will not get ink on clothes, but it is inevitable that ink will get on clothes. At this time, you need to understand how to clean ink from clothes. The following is the method of washing ink that I have summarized for everyone.

How to wash ink off clothes:

To remove ink stains, try rinsing with clean water first, or scrub with detergent. If there are still traces left, you can use five or six grains of acetic acid dissolved in a tablespoon of hot water to apply it to the stain, which will fade away. Silk materials are easily damaged, so they should not be soaked for too long. After applying acetic acid, rinse it off immediately after about one minute.

For nylon fabrics, use hot water at about 80 degrees Celsius, mix with a neutral detergent, add a few drops of ammonia, and then gently rub and wash. As for white cotton and linen clothes, you can use about one liter of hot water, add one teaspoon each of baking soda and bleach to wash them. For thick ink stains, you can mix rice grains, paste and detergent, apply it on the ink stain, and rub it repeatedly with your fingertips until the ink stain disappears. Or you can place digestive tablets on the ink stain. The gelatin in the ink stain will be dissolved by the enzyme in the tablets, making it cleaner. Then soak it in a detergent solution containing enzymes for thirty minutes, then rub and rinse and no trace will be left. When clothes are stained with red ink, first rinse the stained part with hot water two or three times. If there are still traces left, wrap radish powder in gauze, use it to wipe the stain, and finally rinse with soapy water. You can also use the top layer of water from boiled rice bran, or alcohol to rinse it, and finally bleach it.

If clothes are stained with blue ink, you can wash them with soapy water first. If there are still traces left, use five or six grains of acetic acid to soak in 10 CC of hot water, apply it to the contaminated area, then rinse with water and bleach it. If it is made of silk, rinse it off with water immediately after it is applied slightly to avoid damaging the texture of the clothes. Or for nylon clothes, add washing powder and a few drops of ammonia to hot water at 80 degrees Celsius and rub it gently. As for cotton and linen clothes, just use one liter of warm water, add one teaspoon of baking soda and one teaspoon of bleach to wash them to remove the stains.

There is another way to deal with red and blue ink stains. Just soak the stained area with almond juice or alcohol and then rinse with soap and water. You can also use vinegar and water, dip cotton in it and rub the contaminated area, then wash it with soap.

If clothes are stained with pen ink, you can wipe it with carbon tetrachloride, turpentine or stain remover; or add washing powder containing ammonia to warm water, wet it into a ten to twenty times water solution, then soak the clothes in it, and then rub and wash them. When clothes are stained with ballpoint pen ink, you can use gauze dipped in alcohol to pat the ink stain, and then rub and wash it with a 10% ethylene glycol butyl ether solution. If there is no ethylene glycol butyl ether, you can use a 20-fold detergent warm water solution to wash it. If it is a silk fabric, you can wipe the contaminated area with glycerol and then rinse it with water. If you feel it is still not clean enough, you can wash it several times with bleach.

How to wash clothes stained with ink? Life is full of surprises, and you may accidentally get ink on your clothes. At this time, you can only choose to wash the ink off the clothes so that you can wear them clean and tidy. If there is ink on your clothes, you can use the methods introduced above to better remove the ink.
