3. To remove scale due to thermal expansion and contraction, place the empty kettle on the stove and dry the moisture in the scale. When cracks appear on the bottom of the kettle or a "bang" sound appears on the bottom of the kettle, remove the kettle and quickly pour in cold water. Or wrap the handle and spout with a rag, hold it with both hands, and quickly place the dried kettle in cold water (do not let water flow into the kettle). Repeat 2 to 3 times, the scale on the bottom of the pot will fall off due to thermal expansion and contraction.

4. Remove scale with vinegar. If there is scale in the kettle, put some vinegar into the water and boil it for one or two hours, and the scale will be removed. If the main component of scale is calcium sulfate, you can pour pure alkaline solution into the kettle and boil it to remove the scale.
