The second-hand goods you don't want become treasures in other people's hearts

There are many goods in our lives that are ignored or even discarded by us, which is such a pity. If we make good use of them, they can be turned into treasures and even become our "health messengers".

Not everything is better the newer it is. According to the American Yahoo website, buying some things second-hand will greatly reduce the chance of being attacked by toxic substances and save money, killing two birds with one stone. You may want to try buying second-hand items for the following five or three daily necessities.

1. Furniture

The harmful substances produced by new furniture are mainly free formaldehyde, which can easily cause people to feel dizzy, nausea and other discomforts, and may even pose a risk of cancer. After new furniture has been used or left vacant for 3 to 6 months, the harmful gases will basically evaporate. By purchasing second-hand furniture, you can avoid environmental pollution problems.

2. Books

Some books do not use environmentally friendly inks, especially some pirated books. The ink thinners are skin irritants and toxic, and the ink contains lead, which can weaken the body's immunity. There is no such worry with second-hand books, as harmful substances will gradually disappear over time.

3. Fitness equipment

Many people have this feeling when using brand new treadmills and massagers: "There is a squeaking sound somewhere" and "It is very stiff and strenuous." Like a new car, fitness equipment also needs to be run-in. It will take three to six months for all parts to run smoothly. Therefore, as long as the parts are complete and the functions are normal, second-hand fitness equipment is the best choice.
