What is good for foot soaking?

Pregnant women should choose hot water to soak their feet without adding other substances. But be careful not to sweat profusely when soaking your feet, because excessive water loss can easily make the body weak. Just soak until your back and forehead sweat slightly.

1. Soak your feet in mugwort leaves

Take 50-100 grams of dried moxa leaves (depending on the amount of water, there is no strict standard), boil them with water and then add cold water or wait for the temperature to lower before soaking your feet. If you find it troublesome, soak the moxa leaves in part of the hot water for 20 minutes and then add water to soak your feet.

(1) Mugwort and ginger can treat colds, joint diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, coughs, bronchitis, emphysema and asthma.

(2) Mugwort and safflower can improve varicose veins, peripheral neuritis, poor blood circulation, numbness or blood stasis in the hands and feet.

(3) Mugwort and salt are suitable for those with upper-burner fire, frequent red eyes, toothache, sore throat, irritability, upper-burner fire and lower-burner cold, and swollen feet and legs.

(4) Add 20 grains of mugwort and Sichuan peppercorns to treat foot sweat, foot odor, athlete’s foot, and eczema.

2. Soak your feet in vinegar water

Choice of vinegar: (rice vinegar or aged vinegar 100-150 grams)

The effect of vinegar foot bath

(1) It can solve the problem of foot odor. Soaking your feet in vinegar can kill bacteria and treat athlete’s foot to a certain extent.

(2) It can relieve fatigue.

(3) It can moisturize the skin, soften cuticles and increase skin elasticity.

(5) Treat sleep disorders.

What to use for foot odor

1. Wash your feet with salt and ginger water: Put an appropriate amount of salt and a few slices of ginger in hot water, heat it for a few minutes, wash your feet when it is not hot, and rub it for a few minutes. It not only cures foot odor, but also makes your feet feel relaxed and eliminates fatigue. Before going to bed, add an appropriate amount of salt and a piece of ginger to a basin of hot water, soak your feet and scrub them for 5 to 10 minutes. Wash several times in a row. This will eliminate foot odor and sweat, and it can also prevent and treat chapped soles.

2. Wash your feet with tea leaves and salt: If you add 25 grams of tea leaves and a small amount of salt to the foot washing water, soak your feet in the water, and rub them repeatedly for 5 to 10 minutes, the foot sweat odor can be eliminated.

3. Wash your feet with hot water and alum: When washing your feet with hot water every night, put 50 grams of alum in the basin, which is effective in eliminating foot sweat odor.

4. Wash your feet with formalin: Gently rub the soles of your feet with 10% formalin solution, being careful not to scratch the skin. Use it for several days to cure foot odor.

5. Wash feet with rice vinegar: Take 10-15 ml of rice vinegar, add appropriate amount of warm water and mix well. Soak or wash your feet once a night for about 15 minutes to cure foot odor.

6. Washing feet with Pueraria root: Grind 15 grams of Pueraria root into fine powder, add 15 grams of white wine and appropriate amount of water, boil it and wash your feet with it. Do this once a day. After one week, the foot odor caused by foot sweat can be removed.
