The reason why cervical spine stiffness occurs is mostly related to our living habits. As long as we can maintain the correct sitting posture and do some appropriate exercises like jogging, the problem can be effectively alleviated.

1. Intellectual workers:

It is easy to suffer from neurasthenia, high blood pressure, heart disease, stomach disease, indigestion, constipation, hemorrhoids and other diseases. You can choose some whole-body activities that can enhance your cardiopulmonary function, such as walking, jogging, ball games, mountain climbing, etc.

2. People who are overweight:

To prevent fat accumulation, it is advisable to choose sports such as jogging, walking, swimming, cycling or ball games.

3. People with thin stature:

You can do more push-ups or pull-ups, dumbbells, pull-up bars and equipment gymnastics to enhance muscle strength; you can also do whole-body exercises such as running, playing ball, swimming, etc. to promote digestion and absorption and make your physique stronger.

4. People with weak constitution and multiple diseases:

It is advisable to choose activities that require small amounts of exercise, are gentle and safe, such as Tai Chi, walking, and health care.

People who sit for long periods of time and do not exercise often fail to produce mucus in the bone joints, which become dry and lead to arthritis and spinal diseases. Sitting for a long time will not only cause cervical stiffness, disrupting the normal physiological curvature of the human body, resulting in hunchback or bone hyperplasia; sitting for a long time also makes the entire body weight fall on the lumbar sacral area. The pressure is unevenly distributed along the bearing surface, which can cause sagging and pain in the waist, abdomen, and back muscles, and the spinal muscles will also spasm due to poor circulation.

Precautions

Pay special attention to maintaining correct posture, do not use the same posture for a long time; get up and move around for 5-10 minutes after sitting for an hour; do not use the computer for a long time; exercise must be persisted to be effective.
