There is a lump on the collarbone of my neck

Many women care about the shape of their clavicle and will take various measures to make it more beautiful. However, if the method is wrong, a lump will grow on the clavicle of the neck. The essence of this lump is a lymphocyte tumor. If this happens, you must go to the hospital to check the cause. The lymph nodes are a detoxification system. The accumulation of toxins will make the lymph nodes larger and larger. In severe cases, it can develop into cancer. Here is the specific information for you.

Patients with lymph node metastasis were the oldest at presentation, with no gender difference, longer disease course, and larger lymph nodes. Lymphatic tuberculosis is more common in women and has a long course of disease. Patients with lymphadenitis are mostly younger, have a shorter average disease course, and have smaller lymph nodes. Malignant lymphoma occurs more often in men than in women, with obvious enlarged lymph nodes and often accompanied by fever. Reactive lymph node hyperplasia is multi-site, often with fever, and the average course of the disease is short. Histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis (Kikuchi disease) occurs at a young age and is accompanied by high fever and obvious swelling and pain in the lymph nodes.

The 80% rule for diagnosing neck masses can be used as a reference for diagnostic analysis: 20% of non-thyroid tumors in the neck are inflammation, deformity or other non-tumor diseases; 20% of malignant tumors are primary tumors in the neck, and 80% are metastatic tumors; 20% of metastatic tumors originate from the chest and abdominal organs, and 80% originate from malignant tumors of the head and neck. Among metastatic malignant tumors, 20% have unknown primary sites, while 80% can find the primary site. Medical Education Network collected and compiled that it is worth noting that the number of cases diagnosed with reactive hyperplasia of cervical lymph nodes is increasing. It is often unexplained swelling of multiple lymph nodes with no or mild discomfort. There are many factors that can cause reactive lymph node hyperplasia, such as viruses, certain chemicals, toxic metabolic products, degenerated tissues and foreign bodies. Histologically, the manifestation of reactive lymph node hyperplasia is very complex and is a borderline lesion of lymphatic tissue between benign and malignant. If accompanied by atypical hyperplasia of lymphoid tissue, attention should be paid to the tendency of malignancy and close observation should be given.

Understanding the nature of lymphadenopathy is of great significance for the diagnosis of the disease. In case of acute or chronic inflammation, the lymph nodes are soft and movable, have no adhesion to the surrounding tissues and skin, and have a sense of freedom. In the acute phase, there are typical symptoms such as redness, swelling, heat, and pain.

If you suffer from lymphadenopathy, in the early stages the lymph nodes have no adhesion to the skin and surrounding tissues. As the disease worsens, the lymph nodes may continue to swell, but generally not exceeding the size of a walnut. Later, they may adhere and fuse into pieces, liquefy, rupture, and discharge brown-yellow pus or cheesy substance. Lymph node swelling caused by cancer is usually hard and feels like stone, with an uneven surface, and may adhere to the skin, without pain or tenderness. If you suffer from lymphocytic leukemia, the swollen lymph nodes are generally movable, non-adhesive, smooth, not hard, painful, and will not fester or ulcerate.
