Principles of aseptic operation:

1. The environment must be clean. Cleaning the floor and other tasks must be stopped half an hour before performing aseptic operation. Avoid unnecessary crowd movement and prevent dust from flying. Treatment rooms should be disinfected with ultraviolet light once a day.

2. When performing aseptic operations, the sterile area and non-sterile area of ​​the items must be clearly defined.

3. Before performing aseptic operations, wear a hat, mask, wash and dry your hands, and pay attention to the cleanliness of the air and environment.

4. When picking up sterile items, sterile forceps must be used. When performing aseptic operations, unsterilized hands and arms are not allowed to directly touch sterile objects or take objects beyond the sterile area.

5. Sterile items must be stored in sterile packages or sterilized containers and must not be exposed to the air for too long. Sterile and non-sterile materials should be placed separately. Once the sterile package is opened, it cannot be considered absolutely sterile and should be used as soon as possible. Any sterile items that have been taken out should not be put back into the sterile container even if they have not been used.

6. Sterile packages should be placed in a fixed cabinet in the order of disinfection date, kept clean and dry, and separated from non-sterile packages. Sterile packages or containers should be checked regularly to see if they are expired and whether the amount of materials in them is appropriate.

7. Sterile saline, alcohol, and Sanisol cotton ball jars should be disinfected once a week. The containers should not be filled too full with dressings such as dry cotton balls and gauze pieces, so as to avoid contamination by touching the outside of the container when taking them out.
