How to effectively treat schizophrenia?

The treatment of schizophrenia must be carried out in a timely manner. Common treatment methods include hypnosis analysis, and people around the patient should have more internal communication with the patient. In the face of this problem, it is recommended to go to the hospital for more formal examinations and systematic treatment.

1. Hypnotic analysis is more effective than classical psychoanalysis.

2. Treatment is most effective when the therapist forms a good transference relationship with the patient and avoids harboring any aversion or malice toward any of the patient's personalities.

3. Encourage internal communication between separate personalities, because such internal communication helps to "tear down" the wall between the main personality and the successor personality.

4. Some dissociative personalities arise due to failure to meet normal needs. The functions of the needs should be considered and the issue should not be dealt with lightly.

5. The therapist’s responsibility is to help the patient return the subsequent personality to its original goal in order to shift the opposing stance between the subsequent personality and the main personality.

6. Never manipulate or alienate the main personality and the successor personality, as this strategy usually leads to the failure of treatment.

7. Once the successor personality is formed, it will strongly resist all efforts to destroy it. Therefore, the therapist cannot eliminate it, but should focus on its identity with the subject's personality, try to integrate them, and make them operate like normal emotional changes.

8. Through catharsis, the subject personality is "induced back" to take responsibility for the anger, dissatisfaction, impulse, etc. that were previously unacceptable, and to deal with them in a more constructive way. Since the process of inducing the main personality is also the process of venting the successor personality, the wall between the two will automatically disintegrate and communication between the two can be achieved.

It is particularly important to point out that despite the growing interest in the study of multiple personality, multiple personality remains one of the most difficult areas of personality disorder to understand and deal with.
