What is the most effective way to treat cellulitis

The treatment of cellulitis should be carried out scientifically. The first thing that cannot be ignored is systemic treatment. Patients should strengthen nutritional supplements, take more vitamins, or use some antibiotics to help relieve pain. Local hot compresses can also relieve pain.

1. Systemic treatment

Patients should be given enhanced nutrition, oral multivitamins, and analgesics and antipyretics if necessary. High-dose antibiotics must be started early. If necessary, add analgesics and antipyretics

2. Local treatment

Local hot compress can be applied, the affected limb should reduce activity, ultraviolet light or ultrashort wave physical therapy can also be used. Once an abscess is formed, incision and drainage and daily dressing changes are required.

3. Folk remedies for treating cellulitis

1. Fry the broad bean pods into charcoal, mix with sesame oil and apply to the affected area.

2. Mash peach leaves and brown sugar and apply to the affected area.

3. Take an appropriate amount of white pepper, grind it into powder and sprinkle it on the sore.

4. Put 3 eggs and 15 grams of sesame oil in a pan and fry until the eggs are cooked. Take it with rice wine and then apply carbuncle plaster to the affected area.

5. Add 50 grams of white rice to water and cook into porridge. When it is half cooked, add appropriate amount of rapeseed and cook until it is very soft.

6. Grind 6 grams of alum (finely ground) and squeeze the juice of 3 onion roots (with white stems). Take it with rice wine and you will sweat after taking it.

7. 7 green onion hearts, 50 grams of honey. Boil them together until water drops form beads, then spread them on silk and apply them to the affected area.

8. Mash an appropriate amount of old onion, add an appropriate amount of honey and mix well, then apply the mixture to the boil after pricking it. Apply onion honey paste, change it every 2 hours, and wash the boil with vinegar water.

4. Nursing principles for cellulitis

1. Raise the affected limb 30 to 45 degrees to reduce edema.

2. Under the guidance of a doctor, you can use hot compresses to relieve pain and facilitate the maturation of pus.

3. Patients should wear loose clothing.

4. Keep the wound clean and dry at all times.
