The surface of benign pigmented nevus is smooth and flat, with no other pathological phenomena. If there is desquamation, erosion, exudation, scab, bleeding, etc.

5. Color changes

Benign moles have a uniform color, dark brown or black, without any other colors. Once malignancy occurs, a variety of colors will appear. In addition to dark brown and black, red, pink, white, blue, etc. can also be seen. These colors first appear at the edge of the mole and gradually spread to the surrounding normal skin.

6. Hardness changes

Benign pigmented nevus has uniform hardness and soft but not soft texture. If it is suddenly found to be "softening" or "brittle".
