Clinical Application

1. Cervical spondylosis

Acupoint selection: Pain point is the main point. For headaches caused by the Yangming meridian, use the Gu and Neiting points; for headaches caused by the Shaoyang meridian, use the Zulinqi and Fengchi points; for headaches caused by the Taiyang meridian, use the Kunlun and Houxi points.

Method: Use direct puncture method. Gently peel vertically 1-2 times, and combine with local massage to enhance the therapeutic effect.

2. Lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow)

Acupoint selection: find the area where tenderness is most obvious.

Method: Make the cutting line of the small needle knife parallel to the direction of the extensor wrist muscle and insert it into the subcutaneous part of the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. First use the longitudinal dredging and stripping method, then use the incision and stripping method backwards. When you feel that the sharp edge has been scraped flat, use the transverse scraping and stripping method again, and then dredge the extensor wrist muscle, extensor digitorum common muscle, and supinator muscle tendon, remove the needle knife, and bandage. Then flex the elbow joint 2-4 times. Generally, it can be cured after 1 or 2 times, with an interval of 5 days between each treatment.

3. Tenosynovitis of the flexor tendon (snapping fingers)

Acupoint selection: local pain point.

Method: Use longitudinal shovel peeling method.
