What to do if your left shoulder hurts, treatment of frozen shoulder

The most common cause of shoulder pain is frozen shoulder, which is most common among middle-aged and elderly people. It is mostly caused by excessive fatigue and cold. The treatment of frozen shoulder focuses on exercise. You can massage more to relieve pain. Cupping and acupuncture can all treat frozen shoulder well.

1. The more painful it is, the more you need to exercise. Limb function exercise is an important means of treating periarthritis of the shoulder. It may cause or aggravate pain during the process, but as long as you persist, exercise can often achieve very good therapeutic effects. The method of holding the head with both hands: stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold your hands tightly behind your head; pull your elbows apart and parallel to your body; bring your elbows together as if holding your head, and repeat this process over and over again. Wall climbing exercise: The patient stands with the affected shoulder facing the wall and the fingers gradually crawling upwards until it hurts and cannot move upwards; or the patient faces the wall and slowly crawls upwards with both hands or the affected hand until pain feels worse.

2. To make royal jelly, use 100 grams of queen larvae and 500 grams of 50-proof grain liquor. Grind the queen bee larvae into powder, mix them into white wine, seal it for 20 days and drink it twice a day, 30 grams each time. It can be used to treat frozen shoulder.

3. Massage to relieve pain. First use your index finger to find the pain point on the affected area. Once you find it, use your thumb, index finger, and ring finger to rotate and rub the pain point vigorously (as much as you can bear). At the same time, shake the affected limb vigorously like shaking a rope (if you have difficulty shaking it by yourself, you can ask someone else to help you shake it).

4. Cupping: If the pain of frozen shoulder is aggravated by cold, cupping can be used to relieve the pain. You can find the pain point on the shoulder, use cupping to suck the affected area, leave the cup for 15-20 minutes, once a day, to relieve the pain.
