What are the predisposing factors of testicular cancer? As we all know, many people in life are troubled by men's diseases. The most serious one is testicular cancer. Its appearance has a great impact on the patient's life. The cause of testicular cancer is not known to people. So, what are the predisposing factors of testicular cancer? According to relevant experts, the cause of testicular cancer is still unknown, and it is currently believed that its onset is related to both genetic and acquired factors. Among them, cryptorchidism is the most closely related. The chance of developing tumors in cryptorchidism is 10 to 14 times greater than that in normal people, and cryptorchidism in the abdominal cavity is more likely than in the groin. Family history of testicular cancer: If there is a family history of testicular cancer, the chances of other men in the family getting testicular cancer will increase. In addition, testicles with congenital developmental abnormalities are also very likely to become cancerous. Cryptorchidism: Normally, the testicles will descend into the scrotum at birth. If the testicles do not descend into the scrotum after birth and remain in the abdominal cavity or groin, it is called cryptorchidism, and the chance of cryptorchidism becoming cancerous is greatly increased. Removing the cryptorchidism into the scrotum through surgery cannot change the chance of cryptorchidism becoming cancerous, but it is helpful to check and detect cancer. Men with Klinefelter's syndrome (a sex chromosome abnormality with symptoms of low male hormone levels, infertility, large breasts, and small testes) are susceptible to testicular cancer. Testicular cancer responds well to chemotherapy, which is generally considered to be effective for seminoma and also for embryonal carcinoma and choriocarcinoma. Nearly 90% of patients lose testicular sensation and feel no pain. Therefore, it is generally believed that the tumor is a painless scrotal mass. It is worth noting that acutely painful testicular tumors can also be seen in clinical practice, but they are often considered to be inflammatory signs. The cause of pain is bleeding or central necrosis in the tumor, or pain caused by testicular tumors invading tissues outside the testicle. |
