Why do I feel sore and weak in my limbs?

Many people are puzzled as to why their limbs feel sore and weak. In fact, if the kidney qi is insufficient and the body is weak, symptoms such as sore waist and knees, tinnitus and dizziness will appear. Therefore, these people should pay attention to physical conditioning and replenish qi and blood.

1. Chinese medicine says: Qi is the commander of blood, and blood is the mother of Qi. Your condition is generally not a disease. The key is not to sleep or sit for a long time, and to participate in physical exercise appropriately. Lying in bed for a long time will damage your qi. If you are a person who does not do any strenuous work, your qi will not flow smoothly over time, and you will experience symptoms such as soreness and fatigue in the limbs, shortness of breath, and chest tightness. Having these symptoms does not necessarily mean that you have a "disease" as Western medicine calls it. But according to Chinese medicine theory, there is a "disease", the so-called imbalance of Qi and blood. Gastritis is a chronic disease and cannot be treated in a hurry. It can only be treated slowly. Pay attention to your diet, eat less spicy food, avoid overeating and drinking, and have a regular diet. Emotions are also very important. It will get better naturally over time.

2. If the spleen and stomach are weak and not adjusted, instead of being excessively consumed, it will lead to kidney yin deficiency, internal disturbance of virtual fire and heat, and even blood disturbance and mental disturbance, and malnutrition of the brain, bones, teeth, hair, and internal organs.

3. Therefore, there will be soreness in waist and knees, powerless legs, dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia and nightmares; men will have strong erection or impotence, spermatorrhea, weight loss, hot flashes and night sweats, fever in the five parts of the body, dry throat and red cheekbones; premature graying of hair, talking in sleep and grinding of teeth, frequent urination, yellow urine and dry stool, red tongue with little fluid, and thin and rapid pulse.

4. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the kidney is the foundation of one’s innate constitution, and the yin essence in the kidney is the total source of yin fluid in the body. Deficiency of Yin essence can cause various diseases, such as: dizziness, tinnitus, weakness in the waist and knees, bone steaming and hot flashes, thirst (diabetes), etc.
