Dietary taboos after kidney cancer surgery

Kidney cancer patients have been paying more attention to their diet after surgery, but they don't know which foods they can eat and which foods they can't eat. It's correct for patients to have this awareness, because some foods may cause harm to the body if consumed for a long time after surgery. At the same time, the patient's family must pay more attention to this issue. So what issues should kidney cancer patients pay attention to in their diet after surgery? Let's take a look.

Conditioning 1. After kidney cancer surgery, patients need to fast for about two days. During the recovery period, patients with kidney cancer should pay attention to maintaining a reasonable diet and doing appropriate exercise. Family members should encourage patients to eat a high-protein, high-calorie, high-vitamin diet, while avoiding irritating foods, especially chili peppers. In addition, patients should actively exercise, relax, and improve immunity.
Treatment 2: Low-salt diet, eat light and easily digestible food. People with severe edema and hypertension should avoid salt, limit the intake of protein food, and drink less water. Patients without edema are not restricted in salt. Patients with renal cancer with microscopic hematuria and those who are prone to getting angry should drink more water and eat more foods that can reduce fire, such as apples, white sugar, black sesame, and fungus.
Conditioning 3. Supplement high-nutrition liquid or prepare liquid diet, such as lotus seed soup, snow fungus soup, milk, soy milk, crucian carp soup, etc. Avoid overheated, overly acidic and irritating foods when eating. In acute inflammation, it is recommended to eat ice to reduce inflammatory exudation.
