There is a pimple in the buttocks, which may be a big hemorrhoid

A pimple on the buttocks may be hemorrhoids. Many people have hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids include external hemorrhoids, internal hemorrhoids, and mixed hemorrhoids. In daily life, we should do a good job of preventing hemorrhoids, eat more foods high in fiber, prevent constipation, and reduce the incidence of hemorrhoids.

1. Symptoms of hemorrhoids

1. Internal hemorrhoids: They occur above the dentate line, with fresh blood as the main symptom. They are divided into three stages according to the degree of hemorrhoid prolapse: the first stage is without prolapse, the second stage can be reduced by itself, and the third stage needs to be pushed manually to be reduced.

2. External hemorrhoids: They occur in the anal canal and anal margin below the dentate line. They swell and ache during an attack. They are clinically divided into four types:

(1) Inflammatory external hemorrhoids: They are often caused by skin damage and infection at the anus margin. The skin wrinkles at the anus margin bulge like blisters, and there is obvious swelling and pain.

(2) Thrombosed external hemorrhoids: The anal venous plexus ruptures, blood leaks out of the blood vessels, and forms a thrombus that bulges under the skin. It is characterized by sudden onset, local swelling, and severe pain.

(3) Connective tissue external hemorrhoids: Due to chronic inflammatory stimulation, repeated inflammation and swelling, the skin folds around the anus become larger, the connective tissue proliferates, and skin tags of varying sizes are formed.

(4) Varicose external hemorrhoids: Varicose veins under the skin around the anal verge increase abdominal pressure when squatting and increase in size during bowel movements. Symptoms can be alleviated to varying degrees after returning to normal position.

3. Mixed hemorrhoids: They occur above and below the dentate line in the same area, with clinical symptoms of both internal and external hemorrhoids.

2. Prevention of hemorrhoids

1. Try hydrotherapy: Water can relieve hemorrhoid inflammation, pain and itching. You can apply cold compresses or sit in a warm water bath for 10 minutes several times a day to feel more comfortable. Many patients find that using wet wipes instead of toilet paper can also help relieve hemorrhoids.

2. Eat more dietary fiber: Dietary fiber helps promote digestion and defecation, prevent constipation, and thus reduce the risk of hemorrhoids. A high-fiber diet can make stools softer, which can reduce hemorrhoid pain. The daily fiber intake should not be less than 14 grams of fiber/1000 calories of food.

3. Ensure sufficient exercise: Exercise is an important part of preventing and treating constipation. People who sit for long periods of time should stand up and move around for a few minutes every hour. Try to avoid activities that increase the risk of hemorrhoids and worsen hemorrhoid symptoms, such as sitting on the toilet for a long time and lifting heavy objects.

4. Receive special care during pregnancy: Hemorrhoids are also common during pregnancy and postpartum period. In order to ensure the health of mother and child, pregnant women should tell their doctor as soon as possible if they find problems such as rectal itching or pain. One of the key measures for self-treatment of hemorrhoids during pregnancy is to lie on your left side to reduce blood vessel pressure and avoid venous swelling and hemorrhoids.
