Why do my eyes hurt at night?

Why do my eyes hurt at night?

Eye pain is still a common phenomenon in daily life, but if it occurs regularly at night, patients should pay more attention to the symptoms of eye pain. However, because the pain may not be strong, many people do not care too much. However, this negligence may eventually lead to serious eye diseases.

1. Condition Analysis

1. A fever of any cause can cause sore and uncomfortable eyes.

2. Common filterable viral infections. If you feel pain in both eyeballs (not counting just one), feel unwell all over, have a slight fever, and have joint pain, then you have the flu. The eye pain caused by this viral infection will subside on its own within 24 to 36 hours, along with other uncomfortable symptoms.

3. Conjunctivitis (also known as red eyes or inflammation of any part of the upper and lower eyelids, cornea and optic nerve located behind the eyeball (posterior orbital socket) is a common cause of eye pain; infection of any hair follicles on the eyelids or stye is another cause of eye pain.

4. Any small object that gets into your eye, whether it's a hair or a speck of dust, will feel like a big rock. If your eye is scratched by a tiny laceration while you're walking through the bushes, it will feel like unbearable pain!

2. Treatment measures

First of all, lean meat, poultry, animal offal, fish and shrimp, milk, eggs, beans, etc. They are rich in protein, and protein is the main component of cells. The repair and renewal of tissues requires continuous replenishment of protein. Secondly, foods containing vitamin A and VC are also good for the eyes. Carrots, amaranth, spinach, leeks, green peppers, sweet potatoes, and fruits such as oranges, apricots, and persimmons

For the eye-rolling method, choose a quiet place, sit or stand, relax your whole body, clear your mind, open your eyes, keep your head and neck still, and only roll your eyeballs. First, look directly below, then slowly turn to the left, then to the top, to the right, and finally back to the bottom. In this way, turn clockwise 9 times. Then let your eyes move from gazing downwards, to the right, to the top, to the left, and then back downwards, and do this six times in a counterclockwise direction. Do this 4 times in total. With each movement, the eye should move as far as possible. This eye-rolling method can exercise the eye muscles, improve nutrition, and make the eyes flexible and bright.
