Will body odor get better during adolescence

Body odor is a very troublesome disease. It can easily cause people to suffer from excessive psychological stress and depression. For adolescent children, their psychology is more sensitive and they are more likely to suffer from mental illness due to body odor. Therefore, many parents are worried that their children with body odor will suffer from mental illness, and they are very concerned. So, is it good for adolescent children to have body odor?

Body odor during adolescence will get better. Modern medical technology is very advanced, and there are many ways to treat body odor. Therefore, parents don’t have to worry, because their children’s body odor during adolescence can be cured. However, surgical treatment is not recommended before the child is 18 years old, because puberty has not yet passed and the gonads have not matured. Therefore, it is recommended to have surgery after puberty. However, surgery often leaves scars easily, and even improper handling may leave sequelae. Moreover, surgical methods can also cause recurrence, so if you want to have surgery, you must go to a regular hospital.

Treatment methods for body odor

1. Teenagers do not pay much attention to personal hygiene, which often causes a large number of bacteria to grow, increasing the chance of body odor. Therefore, teenagers with body odor must pay attention to personal hygiene and cleaning, take a bath in time after exercise, and keep their armpits clean and dry.

2. Keep the skin in the armpit area clean and dry, take a bath and change clothes frequently. Topical application of astringent, bactericidal and sweat-reducing drugs such as 3% to 5% Ermaline solution, Xishilan Xialu, zinc oxide powder, etc. Carbon dioxide laser and surgical treatments are also available.

3. Armpit hair is prone to breeding bacteria. Women can shave their armpit hair in the summer, or use antiperspirants to inhibit sweating to reduce strong body odor.

4. If antiperspirants alone do not work to get rid of body odor, many hospitals currently use oral medications or topical application of antibiotics plus antiperspirants to treat it, but these are only symptomatic treatments and cannot eliminate the problem completely.
