In mild cases, it can be relieved or disappear after getting up or relaxing, while in severe cases, it may not be relieved all day. Its duration is one of the measures of the activity level of the disease. Morning stiffness is a symptom of all rheumatoid arthritis and is a dangerous signal as well as one of the important evidences for clinical diagnosis.

2. Joint swelling

Joint swelling is a sign of synovitis or surrounding soft tissue inflammation, the degree of which varies depending on the type of inflammation and is caused by joint effusion or synovial hypertrophy. Swelling caused by bone enlargement feels hard like bone and cannot be moved when pressed. Swelling caused by hyperplasia of soft tissue in or around joints feels different from that of healthy tissue. Swelling caused by effusion or blood accumulation feels fluctuating. Joint pain is a symptom of all rheumatoid patients. The degree of joint pain is often related to the severity of joint swelling. The more obvious the swelling, the more severe the pain.

3. Affected joints

Rheumatoid arthritis can occur in the human body's ligaments, bursae, fascia, cartilage, bones and tendons. The frequency of use of various human bodies may cause injuries to the joints, elbows, shoulders, ankles, etc.

The early joint mobility is very obvious. The migratory interval is relatively short, and except for early migratory pain, the migratory nature of arthritis is often symmetrical.
