How to store Rose Red? Tips for preserving roses

Roses represent romance and beauty, but they are particularly easy to wither. Many people hope to keep roses for a longer period of time after receiving them from their loved ones, but roses can generally only be kept for a few days after being picked. Here are some tips for preserving roses.

1. Conventional storage

It is recommended that friends who are attracted by roses can first trim the bottom of the rose branches, insert them in a water bottle, place them in a place without strong light, and change the water regularly (change them every two days or every day in summer);

2. Insert in tea

Rootless flowers placed in a vase are easy to wither. Generally, the flowering period of flowers placed in clear water is only three or four days before they gradually wither. If you use tea (you can also use freshly brewed tea, but you must wait until the tea has completely cooled down before using it) instead of water, you can delay the withering of the flowers. It is better to use a stronger tea. If you use tea to arrange flowers, the flowers will not wither within 7 days and will be bright and fragrant.

3. Storage by terminal crushing method

Crush the end of the pedicel (about an inch) to expand the water absorption area.

4. Flower preservative

Adding an appropriate amount of chemical agents to the flower arrangement solution can inhibit the flower branches and extend the shelf life. If you can't buy preservatives at the moment, you can use a 1/4000 aqueous solution of potassium permanganate for preservation, or make a simple preservative with a 1/3000 aqueous solution of aspirin. This method is basically more professional. If you use this method, please pay attention to the proper dosage.
