Learn these treatment methods for gastrointestinal ulcers and stop taking random medicines

Patients with gastrointestinal ulcers should not only follow medical treatment plans, but also adjust their diet in daily treatment. They should know whether the food they eat is healthy, which determines whether the intestines can recover perfectly. They can eat more lean meat, eggs and green leafy vegetables, which can speed up the surface healing of ulcers, replenish mucosa and prevent local expansion. They should have a regular diet, chew slowly, develop a habit of eating reasonably, and do not eat too much.

The following points should be noted in diet:

1. It is advisable to choose nutritious foods, such as meat, eggs, milk, green leafy vegetables, etc. to help the ulcer surface heal.

2. Avoid foods that are too irritating or too hard. Avoid concentrated gravy, broth, spices, strong tea, strong coffee, alcohol, and foods that are too sweet, too salty, too sour, or too spicy. Also, eat less coarse grains, soybeans, celery, and other foods that contain too much fiber.

3. The cooking methods for food should mainly be steaming, roasting, boiling and stewing. It is not advisable to over-fry, deep-fry, smoke, pickle, or serve raw cold dishes.

4. Eat regularly, at regular times and in fixed quantities, and eat small and frequent meals to reduce the burden on the stomach;

5. Eat less raw, cold and hard food.

6. Do not eat food that is too cold or too hot, and chew slowly. Avoid reading newspapers or watching TV while eating to keep your mind relaxed. Implement the "three regulations", "three musts" and "three no's".

The “three customizations” are “regular timing, quantitative quantity, and qualitative determination.” Regular meals: Develop the habit of having breakfast around 6 o'clock, lunch around 12 o'clock, and dinner around 18 o'clock.

If you need to eat smaller meals more often, there should also be a time limit. In addition to the three meals mentioned above, you can have an additional meal at 9 am and 15 pm.

Quantity: Based on the normal daily food intake of an adult of 500 grams, it should be 150 grams for breakfast, 200 grams for lunch, and 150 grams for dinner.
