You can also regulate your body by massaging the Fengchi point.

1. Hot compress:

Hot water bottles, electric hand warmers, hot towels and infrared bulbs can all have an analgesic effect. Use a hot water bottle, fill it with 40℃~50℃ hot water, place it on the back of the neck for 10~20 minutes, twice a day, which can help promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. Care must be taken to avoid burns.

2. Press and rub Fengchi:

Use the thumbs of both hands to press the Fengchi points on the same side (the depressions on both sides of the back of the neck), and use the other fingers to press and rub on both sides of the head for 20 to 30 times from light to heavy. Efficacy: Dispel wind and cold, open the orifices and relieve pain. Pinch the neck muscles: raise your left (right) hand and place it behind your neck, place your thumb on the outside of the neck on the same side, and the other four fingers on the opposite side of the neck muscles. Put your hands together, lift the neck muscles upwards and then relax, and pinch along the Fengchi point downwards to the Dazhui point 20 to 30 times. Efficacy: Antispasmodic and analgesic, harmonizing qi and blood. Press Jianjing: Press the Jianjing point on the opposite side with the middle finger of the left (right) hand (at the midpoint of the line connecting the Dazhui and the acromion, on the shoulder muscle), then press from light to heavy for 10 to 20 times, alternating between the two sides. Efficacy: Promotes blood circulation, dispels cold and relieves pain.

3. Drugs:

For early pain, you can use safflower oil, cloud essence, etc., rub the painful area 2 to 3 times a day, which will have a certain effect. For some long-term pain caused by cervical spondylosis, you can choose to apply Chinese medicine plasters such as Anjing Patch, which has an ideal analgesic effect, but patients feel that their neck movements are restricted after applying the plaster, so pregnant women should avoid using it.

For those who cannot bend forward and backward, use the Dashu, Jinggu and Kunlun points; for those who cannot look left and right, use the Jianwaiyu, Houxi and Fengchi points. Generally, the Xuan Zhong point can be selected, which is located three inches above the Zuwaidong point. Acupuncture is performed for 4 to 5 minutes and moxibustion is performed 3 to 7 times. You can also massage this point for 15 minutes each time.
