1. What is cervical disc herniation?

These symptoms include bulging, protrusion and extrusion of the nucleus pulposus, all of which represent different stages of cervical spondylosis. However, sudden cervical disc herniation is often encountered in clinical practice, and in most cases, paralysis is the first symptom. Generally speaking, it is very difficult to cure cervical spondylosis, and you can only slowly improve the symptoms of cervical spondylosis in the later stage.

2. So how to prevent and improve cervical spondylosis?

1. Adjust sleeping position.

It is taboo for cervical spondylosis to keep the neck bent, as this will aggravate the protrusion of the cervical spine. People spend almost 1/4-1/3 of their time sleeping, so the state of the cervical spine while sleeping is very important. You must not "sleep soundly" as a high pillow will cause the neck to bend and aggravate the condition. The most suitable pillow is one that can meet the physiological curvature required by the human body when sleeping.

2. Exercise appropriately.

According to Western medical theory, the cause of cervical spondylosis is long-term improper body posture, the neck muscles are not strong enough to fix the cervical vertebrae, causing prolapse, and the protruding parts compress the nerves and blood vessels, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the head, neck headaches, shoulder and back pain and other symptoms. The focus of exercise is on the neck muscles, and the difficulty is not to aggravate the protrusion. In addition to neck muscle exercises, proper whole-body physical exercise can promote metabolism, accelerate blood circulation, and is also beneficial to the recovery of cervical spondylosis.

3. Correct bad posture in life and prevent chronic injuries. Chronic strain of the soft tissues of the neck and shoulders is the pathological basis for cervical spondylosis. Bad posture in life is one of the main causes of chronic strain. Therefore, correcting bad posture in daily life is of great significance to the prevention of cervical spondylosis.
