How to get rid of cold and dampness in the body? Five steps to get quick results

1. Avoid eating any cold food

Foods that are cold on the surface: ice cream, popsicles, frozen fruits, cold drinks, cold dishes, etc.

There are also some foods that are inherently cold:

Cold meat: turtle, crab, oyster, clam, mullet, octopus, snail, duck blood, etc.

Cold fruits and vegetables: bitter melon, mung beans, water chestnuts, persimmons, cucumbers, bananas, sugarcane, etc. For people with cold constitution, it is best to cook fruits and vegetables before eating them.

2. Soak your feet to drive away the cold

Foot soaking is a very good way to improve body coldness, but the key is to persist in it for a long time, rather than doing it halfway, which will only be futile. Make foot soaking something you persist in and strive for. Soak your feet until your whole body becomes warm and you sweat slightly. If you add foot massage while soaking your feet, it can effectively speed up blood circulation and the effect will be better.

3. Apply heat to the abdomen

For girls with a cold constitution, the abdomen is the place where cold air is most likely to rise, which can easily affect the whole body. When you have nothing to do, you can often apply a hot water bottle or a hot towel to your abdomen, and try not to let your abdomen catch cold.

4. Eating and drinking warm up the body better

Warm vegetables: ginger, garlic, onion, leek, carrot, soybean, etc.

Warm meat: chicken, mutton, beef, crucian carp, shrimp, eel, abalone, etc.

Warm fruits: cherries, black plums, millets, grapes, dates, durian, lychees, longans, etc.

5. Massage improves physical fitness

Acupoints such as Qihai, Zusanli, Yongquan, or moxibustion on Shenque, Guanyuan, Qihai, Shenshu, Mingmen and other acupoints can adjust the meridians throughout the body, dispel cold and warm the yang.
