What causes lymphoproliferation?

Lymph follicles are a member of the human body's lymphatic tissue. Under normal circumstances, we will not find lymph follicles. However, when there is inflammation in the pharynx, the lymph follicles will become larger. This is what we call lymphatic tissue hyperplasia. In fact, lymphatic tissue hyperplasia does not have any major impact on our body. It will only cause a foreign body sensation in the throat and does not require treatment. However, if it is serious, you need to go to the hospital. So what exactly is the cause of lymphoproliferation?

1. Causes of lymphoproliferation

(1) Repeated attacks of acute pharyngitis turn into chronic disease.

(2) Suffering from various nasal diseases, long-term mouth breathing and postnasal discharge, frequent irritation of the pharynx, or affected by chronic tonsillitis, dental caries, etc.

(3) Long-term excessive smoking and drinking, or stimulation by dust and harmful gases can cause this disease.

(4) Various chronic diseases, such as anemia, constipation, cardiovascular disease, chronic inflammation of the lower respiratory tract, etc., can cause hemorrhagic changes and may lead to this disease.

2. Examination of lymphatic hyperplasia

1. There is often a feeling of a foreign body in the throat that cannot be coughed out or swallowed. It is often aggravated by emotions, but it does not prevent food from entering. There is always a sense of furry objects or sticky phlegm, nausea, vomiting, and regurgitation.

2. Accompanied by dizziness, irritability, chest and rib fullness, chest tightness and shortness of breath, palpitations, shortness of breath, asthma, night sweats and nightmares.

3. The voice is hoarse, rough, and low-pitched, which is more serious in the morning. In severe cases, the voice cannot be uttered. The throat is red and swollen, with granular protrusions on the surface and hyperplasia of lymph follicles of varying sizes. Sometimes itching, dry cough, burning sensation, dry mouth and slight pain.

4. Dry mouth and tongue, dry cough, red lips and palate, blurred vision, tinnitus, irritability, bone steaming, night sweats and nightmares.

5. Over time, the vocal cords may become thicker, narrower, the voice may become hoarse, and polyps and nodules may proliferate, which may lead to cancer.

3. Identification of lymphatic hyperplasia

It should be distinguished from local lymphadenopathy: Local lymphadenopathy is the phenomenon that the local volume of lymph nodes increases due to internal cell proliferation or tumor cell infiltration.

4. Treatment of lymphoproliferation

1. Eliminate various pathogenic factors, such as treating systemic diseases and sinusitis. Pay attention to nutrition and enhance physical exercise. Avoid irritating food, tobacco and alcohol. Workers working in environments with dust or irritating gases should wear masks.

2. Take different treatment methods according to different types of pharyngitis. For local treatment, you can use compound borax solution, furacillin solution, or light salt water to gargle, or various lozenges can be taken orally. Jinsang Liyan Pills, Lepinqing oral administration, etc.

3. Hypertrophic pharyngitis can be treated with plasma cryoablation.

4. Nebulizer inhalation treatment can be performed. It has certain benefits for symptoms such as dryness and dry cough.
