The pain in the buttocks is caused by these reasons

There are many local pains in life, such as shoulders, legs, knees, etc., but few people actually experience buttock pain. Once it occurs, it may be caused by long-term excessive use of steroids, or it may be caused by systemic lupus erythematosus. Alcohol abuse is also a reason that cannot be underestimated. Finally, long-term diving can also cause buttock pain. The best way to deal with this symptom is to go to the hospital for professional examination in time, and then treat the symptoms to avoid worsening of the condition. In addition to active treatment, correct prevention is also necessary, such as patting the buttocks appropriately.

1. Causes of buttock pain:

First, patients who take steroids for a long time are prone to anoxic necrosis of the femoral head, so they are a high-risk group.

Second, patients with systemic lupus erythematosus are a high-risk group.

Third, alcohol abuse is also a high-risk factor.

Fourth, diving is a risk factor. This is because on the one hand, the long-term bearing of the gravity of the oxygen cylinder, and on the other hand, surfacing in a short period of time can easily turn the helium in the blood into small bubbles, causing systemic vascular embolism and diving disease. People with the above risk factors should be especially careful, as their chances of suffering from hip pain are higher than normal people.

2. Check for buttock pain

1. Diagnosis of buttock pain: pain in the buttocks, lower back, lower waist, hip joints, and thigh roots.

2. The differential diagnosis of hip pain caused by exertion includes: arthritis, capsulitis, musculofascial pain syndrome, neuropathy, and other diseases.

3. There are many diseases that can cause buttock pain, including inguinal hernia, simple sacroiliac osteoarthritis, and intervertebral disc prolapse (highly common between L3 and L4), or kidney stones, which can directly or involve the buttocks. The above are all diagnoses that need to be differentiated one by one.

3. Prevention of buttock pain:

Patting your buttocks can improve blood supply to the brain. Although the two parts seem to be unrelated, they play an important role in eliminating fatigue. There are two important meridians in the body that connect the buttocks to the brain, namely the bladder meridian and the governing vessel. Among them, there is a Changqiang point on the coccyx in the middle of the buttocks, which is the starting point of the Du meridian. Qi and blood will be transported to the head from here. Therefore, tapping the Chengfu (midpoint of the buttocks transverse line) point on the coccyx and buttocks can stimulate the circulation of qi and blood in the Du meridian and bladder meridian, thereby improving blood supply to the brain and activating blood circulation and invigorating qi.
