Many Chinese patent medicines developed in recent years have shown good effects in preventing and treating angina pectoris. They can work by reducing myocardial hypoxia and dilating coronary blood vessels, thereby relieving coronary artery spasm and increasing oxygen supply to the ischemic area of the myocardium.
