Effects of bird's nest peach gum

Peach gum is a natural gum secreted from the bark of peach trees. It has a relatively high nutritional value. It is not only a traditional Chinese medicine, but also has a good health-care effect. It is rich in galactose and other nutrients, and has good anti-aging and intestinal moisturizing effects. For women, eating some of it can also help with beauty and skin care, and its nutritional effects are similar to those of bird's nests.

1. The efficacy and function of peach gum:

Peach gum is mainly composed of galactose, rhamnose, α-glucuronic acid, carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It has the effects of clearing heat and quenching thirst, relieving stress, beautifying and anti-aging, and moisturizing the intestines. Peach gum was a traditional Chinese medicine in ancient times, used to treat stranguria, hematuria and dysentery. Nowadays, peach gum has the effect of maintaining the skin, similar to bird's nest, and is an excellent product for skin rejuvenation and health care.

Effect 1: Treat stomachache

"Compendium of Materia Medica" records that peach gum has the effects of harmonizing blood and qi, and relieving pain. To treat stomachache and gastritis, you can take peach gum that is slightly larger than a soybean, wash it with clean water, chew it into pieces, and take it with warm water, once in the morning and once in the evening. Take it for 30 days and your gastritis will not recur, and you will not feel uncomfortable in your stomach when eating any cold food. This method is only for stomach health care. It is recommended to take it under the guidance of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner to treat stomach problems.

Effect 2: Reduce fat and nourish the skin

It is said that peach gum was once the beauty supplement personally selected by Empress Dowager Cixi. Peach gum, sapodilla rice and white fungus are cooked into soup for a long time and have the effect of lowering fat and nourishing the skin. For treating postpartum diarrhea, red and white stools, tenesmus and scurvy: take peach gum (baked to dry), agarwood and pollen cattail (fried) in equal parts. For the end. Take 2 qian each time, with rice water before meals. (Good Prescriptions for Women)

To treat the pain caused by stone stranguria: Take peach wood glue as big as a date. Mix it with three cups of cold water in summer and three cups of soup in winter. Take it three times a day. It will remove the stone and stop when all the stone is gone. (Ancient and Modern Prescriptions)

To treat thirst caused by deficiency heat: Take peach gum as big as a bullet, hold it in your mouth and swallow the saliva. (Qianjin Fang)

To treat diabetes: Wash peach gum with lukewarm water, cook it in a small pot, and add some seasoning salt (but do not add sweetness). Take one to two liang each time. (Collection of Herbal Prescriptions)
