Does doxolidine injection have any adverse reactions?

Doxolol for injection is mainly used to treat bronchial asthma and asthmatic chronic bronchitis. It can also achieve good therapeutic effects on other intellectual bronchospasms. When using this drug for treatment, you should also understand some side effects. Some patients may experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and other symptoms. You should follow the doctor's advice on medication.

Adverse Reactions

The use of xanthine derivatives may cause nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain, headache, insomnia, irritability, tachycardia, premature contractions, tachypnea, hyperglycemia, and proteinuria.

If used in excess, serious arrhythmias, paroxysmal convulsions, etc. may occur. This is an early symptom of poisoning. You should stop taking the medicine and ask a doctor to diagnose and monitor the blood drug concentration. However, it can still be used after the above signs and symptoms of poisoning have completely disappeared.

Indications

Dyspnea caused by bronchial asthma, asthmatic chronic bronchitis and other bronchospasms.

Dosage

For adults, take 200 mg each time, once every 12 hours, dilute with 25% glucose injection to 40 ml and slowly inject intravenously over 20 minutes. One course of treatment is 5 to 10 days or follow the doctor's advice. Alternatively, 300 mg of this product can be added to 100 ml of 5% glucose injection or normal saline injection and slowly dripped intravenously once a day.

Precautions

1. There are large individual differences in the effects of theophylline drugs. The dosage of theophylline should also be selected according to the individual's condition to select the best dosage and method of administration, and the blood drug concentration should be monitored.

2. It should be used with caution in patients with heart disease, hypertension, the elderly, severe blood oxygen deficiency, hyperthyroidism, chronic cor pulmonale, cardiac insufficiency, arrhythmia, liver disease, peptic ulcer, renal insufficiency or concurrent infection.

3. Doxophalene should not be used simultaneously with other xanthine drugs. It is recommended not to drink caffeinated beverages or eat caffeinated foods at the same time. Caution should be exercised when used with ephedrine or other adrenaline drugs.

4. When increasing the dosage, care should be taken to monitor blood drug concentrations (therapeutic effectiveness is within the range of 10 μg/ml, and concentrations above 20 μg/ml are severe).
