Homemade Mascara Recipe

Homemade Mascara Recipe

Many people have the habit of using mascara, because mascara is a must-have in makeup. It can make our eyelashes look thin and long, and very obvious, which will make the facial features look good as a whole. However, due to the additives in today's mascaras, many people are curious and want to make their own mascara. In fact, you can make your own mascara at home, which can be done in a few simple steps.

Steps to make your own mascara :

1. Prepare a clean, water-free small bowl.

2. Squeeze some aloe vera gel into the bowl. There is no specific amount, just go with your own feeling! But it is recommended to use a small amount for the first time, so that if you don’t like it, you won’t waste a lot.

3. Add a few drops of vitamin E oil to nourish eyelashes. But it’s better to use less, especially for girls with oily skin.

4. Add some activated carbon. It is not very accurate, so just go with your own feeling.

5. Mix the above ingredients evenly and put them into an old mascara container for easy use.

Tips

If used properly, mascara can make your eyes sparkle; if used improperly, they will become sticky and look unattractive. I believe the following usage tips will benefit you a lot.

1. You should apply eye shadow and eyeliner before applying mascara.

2. Use an eyelash curler to create a curl. Use light and even force when curling your eyelashes, otherwise an unnatural vertical angle will appear.

3. Lightly applying dense powder can make the mascara you apply later thicker.

4. When pulling out mascara, wipe off the excess liquid on the head first.

5. Brush from the root of the eyelashes to the tip.

6. First look down slightly and brush the upper half of the eyelashes, then open your eyes and look up, brush the inner half of the eyelashes near the eyes.

7. You can use the front end of the eyelash brush to apply to the beginning and end of the eye and the shorter part of the lower eyelashes.

8. When brushing your eyelashes, use your other hand to help hold your eyelids open, and wait 5 to 10 seconds before blinking to avoid contamination.

9. The mascara can stay on the root a little longer, and less amount should be applied to the tail end to avoid increasing the burden on the eyelashes.

10. Do not use the upward pulling method to pick up a large amount of mascara, as this will bring in air and cause it to dry out and deteriorate. Please use the left and right rotating method instead.

11. Apply the second coat of mascara only after the first coat has dried, otherwise clumping will occur. And you cannot ignore the clumped eyelashes, which are unsightly, so comb them away quickly with a brush.
