How to treat lip herpes

How to treat lip herpes

Herpes labialis is also a type of herpes, but the affected area usually appears on the lips, which patients can detect in time. When treating herpes on the lips, it can actually be cured with simple medications, and the treatment cycle is generally one week. During the treatment, patients need to pay attention to their own hygiene and ensure their lips are clean.

Herpes labialis is a type of herpes, an acute herpetic skin disease caused by the herpes simplex virus. Humans are the only natural host of the herpes simplex virus. The virus exists in the blister fluid, saliva and feces of patients, recovering persons or healthy carriers. The main mode of transmission is direct contact, and it can also be indirectly transmitted through tableware contaminated by saliva.

The course of herpes simplex is generally 1 week. Even without treatment, it will heal after 1 week as long as there is no secondary bacterial infection. However, the disease is very likely to recur; severe cases can cause swelling of nearby lymph nodes.

1. Local treatment :

(1) 3% boric acid solution or normal saline: For blisters or obvious local redness and swelling, apply wet compress until the damage subsides.

(2) 1%-2% gentian violet solution: For ulcers, apply to the affected area twice a day.

(3) 3% acyclovir ointment: Apply topically several times a day.

(4) 0.5% neomycin ointment: apply topically.

2. Systemic treatment:

(1) Immunoglobulin, 3 ml each time, intramuscular injection, once every other day, for a total of 3-4 times.

(2) Cimetidine: Take orally 0.2 g each time, 3-4 times a day, for 5 consecutive days.

(3) Take vitamin C, vitamin B2 or vitamin B complex orally.

(4) Acyclovir: 0.2 g orally each time, 5 times a day. In severe cases, the drug can be administered intravenously. Add 0.2-0.3g of acyclovir to 5% glucose injection and drip intravenously 2-3 times a day for 5 consecutive days.

(5) Antibiotics (penicillin, cefotaxime) should be used for secondary infection.

The specific treatment process of genetically engineered targeted cell therapy is: first, blood is taken and immune cells are separated and cultured in a carbon dioxide incubator. After centrifugation, genetic engineering technology is used, and cell engineering technology is added to the warts treated with frozen inactivation tissue engineering technology to obtain sensitized and activated therapeutic cell nuclear cytokines, which are then injected back into the bottom of the lesion and surrounding diseased tissues to completely eliminate various viruses of viral warts in deep tissues, thereby achieving the best effect of curing viral warts and preventing recurrence.
