Mild cross-eye correction training

Mild cross-eye correction training

As the saying goes, eyes are windows to the soul, and they can tell whether a person's heart is pure. Eyes are the organ with the highest water content in the human body. Problems with eyes directly affect the overall appearance of a person. For example, common strabismus will make your facial features look tilted, very uncoordinated, and extremely unsightly. Cross-eyedness will also affect the overall beauty of a person's facial features. Let's learn the correction training methods for mild cross-eyedness.

Cross-eyes means that the pupils in the middle of the eyes are naturally or artificially moved closer to the center, making them look like two chickens fighting. Hence the name "cross-eyes" or "cross-eyes".

Suggestions: Wearing appropriate hyperopia glasses or bifocals can correct it. If there is moderate or high refractive error, glasses are often needed for correction. In addition, axis correction training can be used to help restore the single vision of both eyes and increase the ability of fusion. For example, training with a visual axis correction training machine, or wearing prism lenses

1 Most patients with cross-eyes develop the condition in childhood. There are many reasons why children develop cross-eyes. For example, when children see an older person with cross-eyes out of curiosity, they start to imitate him. Long-term imitation may cause them to become cross-eyed themselves. Children, especially infants, have incomplete development in all aspects, which makes it difficult for them to coordinate their extraocular muscles well, and they develop cross-eyes under the influence of various external factors.

2 There are many ways to treat cross-eyes, which are generally divided into surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment. Patients who are too young cannot undergo surgical treatment, nor can their eyesight and glasses be adjusted. Patients can often use eye drops in both eyes to dilate the pupils, so that when patients look at close objects, they will see them very blurry and unclearly. This forces patients not to look at close objects and helps improve cross-eyes.

3 For patients with cross-eyes over three years old, they can be taken to a professional ophthalmology hospital for eye examination and glasses fitting, and glasses can be used to adjust the cross-eyes. For such patients, they must go to the hospital for an eye test every six months and adjust the degree of their glasses in time. For such patients, glasses must be worn every day. For patients with cross-eyes who cannot heal themselves with the adjustment of glasses, it is recommended that patients consider surgical treatment. The best time for surgical treatment is between four and six years old.

Note:

People with cross-eyes should eat more carrots, as carrots are good for the eyes. Do not let the patient eat spicy or other irritating foods. Patients with cross-eyes must pay attention to eye hygiene and do eye exercises every day. After the operation, patients must not watch too much TV, read more books, and close their eyes to rest often. Learning to develop a good sitting posture is especially helpful for the eyes.
