(ii) Cephalosporins

Cephalosporins are a class of antibiotics that are obtained by semi-synthetically modifying the side chains of natural cephalosporin C obtained by culturing Cephalosporin C as raw materials. There are about 30 commonly used species, which are divided into one, two, three and four generations according to the time of their invention and their antibacterial properties. Do not use before or after drinking alcohol. Shock and fainting are very likely to occur, and the elderly may even be in danger of death. In the antibiotic market, cephalosporin antibiotics occupy a large share, and their related intermediates also show considerable market potential. The best-selling varieties of cephalosporin antibiotics include ceftriaxone sodium, cefazolin sodium, cefotaxime, ceftriaxone, cefoperazone and cefuroxime (ester), and the corresponding intermediates include 7-ACA, 7-ADCA, GCLE, aminothiocarbamic acid, AE-active ester, triazine ring, tetrazolylacetic acid, methylthiotetrazolium, HO-EPCP, methoxyamine hydrochloride, furanamine salt (SIMA) and chlorosulfonic acid isocyanate, etc.

Function: It is mainly used clinically for pneumonia, bronchitis, peritonitis, pleurisy caused by sensitive bacteria, as well as infections of the skin and soft tissues, urinary tract, bile duct bones and joints, facial features, etc. It is also used for sepsis and meningitis.
