Shark fins stuck in the throat are very common in daily life. Not only does it affect people's physical health, but it also causes certain harm. Therefore, it is particularly important to learn some scientific self-rescue methods. However, different approaches should be adopted for children and adults. At the same time, be careful not to pick the wound with your fingers. You can also take vitamin C1 to soften it, which can achieve the effect of self-rescue. 1. If shark fin gets stuck in your throat, don’t forcefully swallow it and don’t try to pick it out with your hands! Use the following methods for emergency self-help: 1. For shark fins that are too deep to be seen, you should go to the hospital immediately for treatment. 2. If the shark fin is visible when you open your mouth, you can ask someone to carefully pick it out with chopsticks or tweezers. 3. Use a spoon, toothbrush handle or tongue depressor to gently press 2/3 of the patient's tongue to expose the root of the tongue and tonsils. Use a flashlight to carefully observe the root of the tongue, tonsils, posterior pharyngeal wall, etc., and try to find the shark fin. After seeing it clearly, use tweezers or chopsticks to remove the bone spur. If the patient has a strong throat reaction, nausea, vomiting and is difficult to cooperate, he or she can be asked to do a blowing action to relieve the discomfort. 4. If a small shark fin is stuck in the throat, you can take a vitamin C1 tablet, hold it in your mouth, and swallow it slowly. After a few minutes, the shark fin will soften. 2. Specific response to first aid 1. If the child is under 3 years old The rescuer should immediately pick up the child, pinch both sides of the child's cheekbones with one hand, put his arm on the child's chest, and support the back of the child's neck with the other hand, so that the child lies face down on the rescuer's knees. Pat the child on the back 1-5 times and observe whether the child spits out the foreign object. 2. If the foreign body does not come out after the above operation Another posture can be adopted, turning the child over and lying on a hard ground or bed board, with the rescuer kneeling or standing at the side of his feet, or sitting down and letting the child ride on the rescuer's thighs, facing forward. The rescuer places the middle or index fingers of both hands on the child's abdomen below the thorax and above the navel, and presses upward quickly but gently. Repeat until the foreign body is expelled. 3. Used in first aid for adults The rescuer stands behind the patient, wraps his arms around the patient's waist, then makes a fist with one hand and places the thumb side of the fist on the patient's abdomen above the umbilicus below the thorax. Use your other hand to make a fist and strike upward quickly to compress the patient's abdomen. Repeat the above steps until the foreign body is expelled. 4. For self-help You can use the last 3 steps of the above 4 steps for adults, or bend down slightly, lean on a fixed horizontal object, press the upper abdomen with the edge of the object, and thrust upward quickly. Repeat until the foreign body is expelled. |
