How to use bath essential oil

Proper use of some essential oils when taking a bath can not only relieve fatigue, but is also very beneficial for the maintenance of the body's skin. For example, adding some pure essential oils when taking a bath can achieve the effect of anti-inflammatory and bactericidal, promote the expansion of skin tissue pores, and relieve muscle fatigue. At the same time, taking a bath with essential oils can also meet people's physiological and psychological needs, and it is good in losing weight and regulating menstrual discomfort.

How to use bath oil

Adding pure essential oils to your bath not only purifies the body and leaves a fragrant scent, it also has the benefits of anti-inflammatory and sterilization, stimulating skin tissue throughout the body, dilating pores, and eliminating muscle fatigue. Essential oil baths fully meet people's physiological and psychological needs and are very suitable for taking after a busy day at work. The effect will be better if you turn on the aromatherapy lamp while taking a bath and listen to soft music. The water temperature for bathing can be adjusted according to needs. A cold water bath (0℃~21℃) has the effect of boosting spirits; a warm water bath (22℃~32℃) eliminates fatigue and makes one feel happy; a hot water bath (32℃~42℃) relieves muscle pain, regulates menstrual discomfort, helps lose weight, and eliminates stretch marks and scars.

Usage: Pour 80% of water into the bathtub, add 8 to 10 drops of pure essential oil (the essential oil can be diluted with milk, honey or apple cider vinegar) or 15 drops of compound bath oil, gently stir the essential oil to disperse it, and then you can enjoy the benefits of essential oil bathing. After taking a bath, just wipe off the water on your body with a towel. The floating oil left on the skin not only has therapeutic effects, but also leaves a faint fragrance on your body.

Note: Therapeutic bathing takes more than 15 minutes and is recommended 3 times a week. The above bathing method is only suitable for adults. Bathing is not recommended for infants under 1 year old. Children under the age of 12 must bathe with compound essential oils (you can choose a refreshing base oil <base oil> and mix it with safe single essential oils, such as chamomile, lavender, rose and citrus essential oils, etc.).

Hand and foot bath

The palms and soles of the feet are home to all the acupuncture points of the human body, so as long as these parts are taken care of regularly, it will have a positive effect on all parts of the body; if combined with the natural fragrance of essential oils, it can indeed bring people a fascinating enjoyment. In addition, the effect of a partial bath is not inferior to that of a full body bath. It is both simple and comfortable. A hand bath can relieve shoulder and neck pain and eliminate general tension, while a foot bath can eliminate foot swelling and insomnia symptoms and foot inflammation caused by a cold constitution. Usage: Wash your hands or feet, then prepare a small bottle of warm water, add 3 to 4 drops of pure essential oil (the essential oil can be diluted with milk, honey or fruit vinegar first) or 6 drops of compound hand and foot bath essential oil, soak for 15 to 20 minutes, and wipe dry with a dry towel.

Sitz bath method

This method is mainly suitable for treating gynecological diseases, hemorrhoids, genital infections or urinary tract infections. Usage: Put about 20 cm high warm water in a container such as a bathtub, drop 3 to 4 drops of pure essential oil (diluted first) or 6 drops of compound bath essential oil, soak for 15 to 20 minutes, and wipe dry with a dry towel. The above are some of the most common essential oil bathing methods. The fast pace of modern life puts tremendous physical and psychological pressure on many people. Regular use of essential oils provides benefits that not only help improve quality of life, but can also help avoid chronic fatigue syndrome caused by overwork.
