What are the symptoms of myocardial neurosis

Myocardial neurosis, just from the name it sounds like a very complicated disease. In fact, myocardial neurosis is a symptom of physical discomfort caused by dysfunction of the cerebral cortex. In patients with myocardial neurosis, the body loses normal control over the autonomic nervous system. In serious cases, it will affect normal life. So, what are the symptoms of myocardial neurosis?

There is no organic cardiovascular lesion in pathological anatomy. In a broad sense, many arrhythmias that are not accompanied by organic heart disease can also belong to this syndrome. The symptoms of cardiac neurosis are palpitations, precordial pain, shortness of breath, general fatigue and dizziness, insomnia, tight limbs, sweating, nausea, hand tremors, etc. It mostly occurs in young and middle-aged people, and is more common in women. Cardiac neurosis falls within the categories of "palpitations", "depression" and "deficiency" in traditional Chinese medicine. It is caused by organ dysfunction due to emotional injury, excessive mental stress, or long-term illness that leads to depletion of yin essence and insufficient qi and blood. Although this disease involves many internal organs, it mainly manifests itself in heart, kidney, spleen deficiency or liver depression.

The diagnosis of cardiac neurosis must be made on the basis of excluding organic heart disease, and caution should be exercised when making the diagnosis. Endocrine diseases such as hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma and organic heart diseases such as coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy or viral myocarditis should be excluded. Chest discomfort in patients with coronary heart disease is often related to activity or physical labor, with a negative propranolol test and a positive exercise test. Patients with cardiomyopathy have positive findings on cardiac ultrasound examinations. Patients with viral myocarditis often have a history of upper respiratory tract infection, and elevated serum myocardial enzymes in the acute phase can be used for differentiation. Psychological treatment (1) helps patients understand the nature of the disease to relieve their concerns and convince them that they do not have organic cardiovascular disease; (2) medical staff must be patient with patients to gain their trust and cooperation; (3) avoid various factors that may aggravate the disease; (4) encourage patients to exercise; (5) encourage patients to adjust their mentality, arrange their work and rest time, and engage in entertainment and travel in moderation.

Prevent and eliminate inducements, such as anxiety, tension, and worry; correct insomnia; ensure a normal and regular life in the general sense; avoid excessive fatigue and the influence of adverse factors such as noisy environment. Once you suffer from cardiac neurosis, you don't need to be too nervous, let alone stay in bed. You can take the following measures: 1. Regularly participate in sports activities within your ability, such as Tai Chi, to exercise and strengthen your physical fitness. 2. Live a regular life, arrange your life reasonably, and try to combine work and rest. 3. Avoid excessive stress and do not engage in work that requires long duration and high concentration. 4. People with severe insomnia should take symptomatic medication. Most cardiac neurosis are not organic heart diseases. As long as they are treated actively, they can generally recover and have a good prognosis. However, patients with long-term severe symptoms may significantly affect their normal life and work.
