When your toes feel numb, beware of four diseases

Toes are also part of the body, but many people don't pay much attention to their toes. Numbness symptoms may occur in many parts of the body, including the toes. When the toes are numb, you must pay attention to it, as it may be the result of a disease. Clinically, many diseases may cause numbness in the toes. When people experience numbness in the toes, they should also be alert to these four diseases.

1. Arteriosclerosis

When a person suffers from arteriosclerosis, the nerve centers in the body will be affected, causing ischemia and hypoxia in local parts of the nervous system, which in turn causes numbness of the limbs. Arteriosclerosis not only manifests itself in numbness of the limbs, but can also cause palpitations, chest tightness, chest pain, headaches, memory loss, insomnia and more. Therefore, when you find that you have arteriosclerosis, you must seek treatment in a timely manner, pay more attention to exercise and diet, and cooperate with the treatment.

2. Blood viscosity

The blood may be viscous and the blood flow may be poor. Eat more foods that can soften and dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. Drink a glass of water in the middle of the night and in the morning to dilute the blood viscosity and lower blood pressure.

3. Cold climate

The human body is sensitive to the ambient temperature, especially those who are afraid of cold and can feel the temperature changes more easily. Therefore, when the temperature of the cold air exceeds the normal value that the human body can feel, it will affect the human nerve ending system, thereby causing symptoms of numbness in the hands and feet. Therefore, in the cold winter, the probability of numbness in hands and feet is also the highest.

4. Lumbar disc herniation

When you suffer from a herniated disc, the sciatic nerve is compressed. The sciatic nerve is the main nerve trunk that innervates the lower limbs. Its pathway runs along the waist, buttocks, back of the thigh, and the posterior and lateral sides of the calf to the outside of the foot. Therefore, patients with lumbar disc herniation are prone to foot numbness, and most of them are also accompanied by back pain, leg pain, etc. Some patients experience numbness in the left foot sometimes and in the right foot sometimes. Most of these people suffer from central lumbar disc herniation.
