These small particles are not acne, but keratosis pilaris. If you examine carefully, you will find that many of us have small red bumps on the pores of our skin. In more serious cases, the pores will become darker in color, appearing dark red or brown, and the particles will become rougher, looking very much like goose bumps, so keratosis pilaris is also commonly known as "chicken skin." The most common areas where it appears are the outer sides of the upper arms, thighs, neck, and even the entire back and cheeks - some people have darker and rougher skin on their cheeks, and although the granularity is not very obvious, it is also considered "chicken skin." "Chicken skin" does not hurt or itch, and will not cause disease, but it is extremely dry and flaky, which affects its appearance.

This is a chronic inflammation of the sebaceous glands of the hair follicles, which causes the hair to fail to grow. It is usually more obvious during adolescence and will get better with age.

During treatment, keep the affected area clean. You can also take some medicines to clear away heat, detoxify, cool blood and promote blood circulation.

Note:

1. Ensure adequate sleep, eat a light diet, and avoid spicy food.

2. Wash your face frequently with warm water and sulfur soap to reduce the amount of oil adhering to the face and clogging the pores. Do not squeeze the skin lesions with your hands to avoid infection.

3. Eat less greasy, spicy and sugary foods, eat more fresh vegetables, more fruits, and some vitamins C and B, and carotene.
